Beach stabilisation investigation at the Four Seasons Hotel Langkawi, Malaysia
Field work, data analysis and numerical modelling were undertaken to address the primary objective of the Four Seasons Resort on Langkawi; to prevent the continued erosion of the beach adjacent to the Four Seasons Resort Langkawi and provide a buffer against future storms and wave activity. A secondary objective was consideration of methods to manage marine debris and box jelly-fish that occasionally wash ashore.
